MakeTerms privacy
MakeTerms is a Shopify app by Oskivo. Contact support@oskivo.com.
What the app stores
MakeTerms stores B2B company names, company location billing addresses used on statements, payment-term order totals, due dates, financial status, and payment amounts. It stores a Shopify customer id for a company contact so a hold tag can be added and removed. It does not store customer email addresses, phone numbers, or personal names.
Protected customer data
- Company.name — printed on the statement and dashboard.
- CompanyLocation.billingAddress address1, address2, city, province, zip, and countryCode — the bill-to block on a statement, printed under the Company.name.
Order webhooks can include customer email and phone in the payload Shopify sends. MakeTerms reads the order id from that payload and loads the order again with a query that does not ask for those fields. The extra fields are not written to the database.
Shopify session storage may keep the signed-in staff member's name and email on an online session. MakeTerms does not read those columns. Uninstall and shop redact delete them.
Retention and deletion
app/uninstalled clears the stored plan and sessions immediately. The shop returns to Free on reinstall until a new subscription is approved. shop/redact deletes the shop and its companies, orders, statements, and alerts. customers/redact deletes company-contact rows for that customer id. customers/data_request is acknowledged; there is no customer email or phone to return.
Statements
A statement link is an unguessable token. Anyone with the link can view that statement. Email, when used, opens the merchant's own mail app. On Plus, MakeTerms emails the daily summary (company names and amounts, no customer details) to the address the merchant sets in Settings, sent through our email provider Resend from oskivo.com.
